Since its launch in January 2009, whatsapp which has grown from sparsely used to Most used App by humans in the world today has been known to bring such flexibility including video calls, voice calls, ability to send Documents without stress, etc. But then, due to the fact that the platforms on which it is used could run into some errors, i have decided to write this post on how to solve “Unfortunately Whatsapp Has Stopped” Error on all Android phones.

When i had my Infinix 572, Gionee Marathon 6, Techno Phantom devices, here is how i was able to solve the “Unfortunately Whatsapp has stopped” Error on my devices.

How to Solve “Unfortunatelely Whatsapp Has Stopped” On Infinix Note 4, Gionee M6, Techno Camon CX, Every Other android phone out there
There are 2 methods of doing this but first, i’ll start with the easiest of all
Clearing Cache And App Data Method Of Solving “Unfortunately Whatsapp Has Stopped” error
This simply means you’ll clear out the cache of the whatsapp application[. clearing cache means you wipe away every information on whatsapp application.
How To Clear Cache Memory On Whatsapp

In order to clear Whatsapp cache memory, simply do these:
1. locate Settings on your Device
2. Scroll down till you find Apps/Applications
On Apps section, you’re going to be able to see all Apps installed on the device.
Now quickly scroll down till you see Whatsapp
3. As you see Whatsapp, click on it
Now If you use any of the latest versions of Android, look out for “Storage”, found it?
4. Now click on Storage
5. As you click on it, you look out for Clear Cache/Clear Data.
6. Now as soon as you Hit that Clear Data,
7. Push the Power Button on your device and ensure you power off the device.
Now that’s for Method 1. Lets see Method 2 which i know is quick but may require data
Method 2 of Solving “Unfortunately whatsapp has stopped” error
In this method, you’ll need to uninstall Whatsapp application from your phone completely and then install it again.
How To Uninstall Whatsapp From Any Android Phone
1. Quickly click on Settings
2. Click On Apps
3. Press On Whatsapp
4. As you press on Whatsapp, you’ll see “Uninstall and Force Stop depending on the version of android you’re using
5. Quickly click on Uninstall
6. Power Off your device
7. Reboot device (Turn it back on)
8. Go to Play Store
9. Search And download “Whatsapp“
10. Install and Enjoy it once again
Now that is how you can successfully solve “Unfortunately Whatsapp has stopped error” On android phone.
